Welcome
You’re invited to a community where the broken-hearted are embraced, the wear soul finds rest, the gospel is freely offered, and Christ is our Good Shepherd.
Jesus has welcomed sinners into his family. No matter who you are or what you have done, he will welcome those who turn to him in faith. So we too invite you to join us. Come hear about Jesus, who he was, what he taught, and what he did
If you’d like to get to know us we’d love for you to come and visit us and break bread with our group. Rev. Gossett also loves to grab coffee with folks and answer any questions they may have about Christ, Christianity, and the Church.”
Our Identity
Our identity is given to us in Christ by his Spirit and through his word. We bear his name in the term “christian” and we are marked as his followers. In our community this identity is expressed in three terms: Biblical, Confessional, and Liturgical.
“We are Biblical because the bible is our final authority in what we believe and in what we do as a Church. We believe the word, read the Word, pray the Word, sing the Word, and study the Word. Our worship is structured around the elements found in the Word of God.
“We are Confessional because many have claimed to be biblical in innovative ways. The Creeds and Confessions summarize our understanding of the Bible. The creeds and confessions as faithful summaries of scripture are regularly employed in teaching and in our worship to confess together the Christian faith and to confess the Christ of the Bible. The Confessions we look to are from the Reformed and Presbyterian tradition of Christianity.
“We are Liturgical because what we do shapes who we are no less than what we think. We believe regular rhythms and practices of the Church are regulated by Christ and in his word and that they shape us in Christ’s image. We are seeking to plant a Church that is biblical and historical in its worship practices.
